I repaired and redesigned a working platform with security, reliability and usability problems.
Tower Tide Gauge receives physical tide and weather sensor readings through a firmware API, stores them in MySQL and displays them to the public and administrators. The platform had unauthenticated device writes, pages returning HTTP 500, a watermarked map, a broken mobile widget and slow, unbounded history queries. I reworked every screen shown below and retained every API path used by the firmware.
02 / Justice Audit
A 17-page website for Justice Audit.
The audience includes ministers and development banks. The site needed to present its evidence clearly and credibly.
Justice Audit works with governments and international agencies to show how justice systems perform. Its website was one long Bootstrap 4 and jQuery page, with a static PNG project map, four outdated translated snapshots and a broken PDF link. I rebuilt it with a page for every product, application and country, and checked every claim against the source dashboards.
